Our dental discount plan called PDDP, is a step in the right direction for the future of healthcare. In order to provide an affordable dental plan you first have to eliminate all the layers of administrators/profit takers/patient referral groups or 3rd parties.

It is back to basics! PDDP is a patient-provider type of plan in which only you and your dentist decide what is best for your dental health! Never a 3rd party administrator trying to maximize profits by cutting your dental plan.

We believe that a grassroots movement is taking form in this country.  Dental patients are looking for a way to get better, more affordable dental care and dentists are looking for ways to help those patients, while removing the layers of bureaucracy and inefficiency that burden the current system.

Before we get to all of the details of our affordable dental plan let’s take a look at the state of healthcare in America today, not just dental plans.

Many Americans feel we have the best healthcare in the world. And in many areas we
have some of the best technology and research working for us. But the quality of our healthcare, according to the World Health Organization, is ranked 15th out of 25 industrialized nations. And for our healthcare, we pay more than DOUBLE compared to the next most expensive country. We are not getting our moneys worth. Here are some facts to consider:

45 million Americans are uninsured.
Millions more are underinsured.
Many with insurance are paying very high premiums ( like a second mortgage payment).
More than 18,000 adults die from lack of coverage annually.
We have a higher infant mortality rate in the US compared to other industrialized countries.
50% of all bankruptcies in this country are related to medical bills.

When you look at these healthcare costs, it is easy to see why. It is not the actual cost to Doctors or hospitals. It is the "for- profit insurance system," that is creating the extra costs. None of these other 15 countries have this "for profit system" as we have. The administration of this system is costing us over 30 %, while the countries with their healthcare system pay about 2-3% in administration. Add to that the double digit profits/quarterly earning and the high salaries for the management boards and you can see why it is so expensive.

Sales commissions can account for another 5-15 %. We can’t afford this system! In fact this system makes our workers much less competitive in the world market place. Does out sourcing of jobs from this country ring a bell? This system will bankrupt our country based on future projections.

The answer is simple. We can reform our system with a single payer system that is a form of national health insurance... not socialized medicine! That is different.

With universal healthcare, this country will save $200 billion annually in paperwork and administration fees. Enough to cover the uninsured as well as save money for businesses paying skyrocketing premiums.

While we can’t improve the health insurance system overnight, we can make a start by eliminating the middle-men and third-party administrators when it comes to providing an affordable dental plan.
